A Great Location and 5 star Service. A fantastic hotel in a great location (only 5 mins walk from the Blue Mosque and less than 10 mins from a tram stop). Large luxurious rooms with great views from the restaurant of the Blue Mosque and the Haghia Sophia. The staff were some of the most helpful you could imagine, from booking excursions and helping with directions to trains etc to resolving the ultimate holiday faux pas of leaving items in the safe at the end of the visit. The team were a credit to the hotel.. .

Perfect location for sight seeing. A very pleasant room in a great location. Everything is a bit dated, without being tatty, more in a majestic way. We were on the 3rd floor, so didn't get any view from the windows. Breakfast on the 6th floor gave ample opportunity to view the surroundings. I have to say I struggled with breakfast - the "hot" things were luke warm and quite strange, and the cold things seemed to consist of many, many ways to serve cheese. We were only there 3 days, and I ended up with hard boiled eggs and fresh bread (excellent) each morning. Another point to bear in mind, is how long it takes a taxi to get to the hotel through the narrow streets within the Sultanahamet area.. .

Wonderful, relaxing stay!. Wonderful hotel right in the heart of old Istanbul. In walking distance to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and the cisterns( a must see).Beautiful rooms, wonderful, kind staff. Breakfast is included-a nice bonus! Very friendly, helpful in all ways-definitely would stay again- highly recommend!. .

Conveniently located with helpful staff.. Situated close to tourist desinations. Rooftop restaurant has amazing panoramic view. Friendly and helpful reception staff.. .

Amazing. This hotel is at prime location just walking distance to Blue mosque Grand Bazaar ,tram what else can u ask for . Room average not much view but the views from breakfast restaurant are stunning, the staff are super friendly ,visited their spa my 1st ever turkish bath experience and would recommend it any day, Anna the masseuse was amazing ,was bit sceptical getting the bath and sauna treatment after going thru a bypass 6 months ago , but Anna made the experience amazing she ensured and checked on me if I was ok time to time and not applying too much pressure.... will return to Istanbul and without a shadow of doubt this is where I will be staying again.. Thank you for ur amazing hospitality... ❤️. .

Fantastic Hotel!. We stayed at the Sultanhan Hotel for 6 days to celebrate my sister’s 40th birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful — the decor is elegant and full of character, giving it a real sense of charm and comfort. Check-in was quick and easy, and the reception staff were fantastic — attentive and welcoming at all hours, both day and night. The food was very good, and the overall hospitality throughout our stay made us feel right at home. The location is ideal: just a 6-minute walk to the Blue Mosque, but still far enough from the crowds to feel calm and relaxing. A wonderful hotel in every way. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Istanbul!. .

Great hotel. Very comfortable. Central convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.. Superb hotel. Very kind and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a luxurious suite with a huge bathroom and a lovely balcony with a spectacular view. We all slept very well. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious, served on the top floor against the backdrop of the beautiful Istanbul vista. The hotel is conveniently located for all the major sites in Sultanahmet. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.. .

Superb hotel. Brilliant location. Would definitely recommend.. What a wonderful hotel. We were upgraded to a very comfortable & luxurious suite. It was equipped with an amazing bathroom and a balcony with a stunning view over the Bosporus. We had a great night‘s sleep and left feeling fully refreshed. The staff were charming and helpful. The location is brilliant, with all of the major sites in close proximity. Breakfast was very good and the views from the rooftop were spectacular. Very much recommended.. .

. Considering being an old hotel,i stil rated as average. AC not cooling enough,room tight altough they classify it as luxury,king bed is nice but the other full beds are tight and mattresses cheap. staff friendly,food pretty good.. .
