Okay not great. My second stay at Adamar - the first was maybe 10 years ago - and I was a bit underwhelmed with my stay. The location in Sultanahmet is good if you want to visit the Blue Mosque & other such sites ( all of which are now very pricey indeed), but for my next visit I would choose an area of Istanbul which is less touristy & more authentic. The Adamar hotel itself is quite nice. Room is quite small, the shower is good, housekeeping vg, soundproofing good if the window is closed (otherwise you hear the 4am call from the mosque etc). Breakfast was only fair, in my opinion. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant. Good location to access airport shuttle and trams etc. .

The best experience. Fantastic hotel and restaurant. Very polite staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great restaurant with panoramic view of Istanbul and the Hagia Sofia. You could just sit there all day and look at the view.
Nara was a treat to deal with in the restaurant and warrants a special mention. I would love to come back. .

Fantastic hotel, set in superb location with 360 views!. This is a fantastic hotel, with the most amazing panoramic view of most of the main tourist attractions in Istanbul. The food was delicious and the service could not be faulted! Would particularly like to thank the bar/restaurant staff who made our holiday all the more enjoyable and gave some good tips on places to visit.
We had a slight issue with our TV which was fixed straight away. Room was comfortable and clean and, despite the Istanbul traffic, remained quiet.. .

. The staff at the Adamar Hotel were outstanding. So friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of good information upon arrival and then arranged our taxi to the airport at the end of our trip.
The location is in great placement. Easy to walk everywhere that you might want to visit. Didn’t need to use a single taxi except when heading to the airport.
A nice wide range of breakfast foods available everyday with an amazing view.
Would definitely recommend a stay here. . .

. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They arranged a taxi for us and kept our luggage secure after check out so we could take a city tour. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast that comes with the room. Location was terrific too. I would definitely stay here again. . .

. Had a great stay at Adamar. Very convenient location as its close to everything. The panoramic restaurant has good food and spectacular views.
İts in a very busy area so there is lots of traffic. Found the room we stayed in to be quite small. Other than that we had no issues. Restaurants in this area are quiet pricey so be aware.. .
