After breakfast, an extra full-day Kotor and Fjords Tour (75 Euro). On this tour, we will see Tivat, Porto Montenegro, Kotor, and Perast, and also take a round-trip boat ride to the Lady of the Rocks island in Perast. First, we will depart for Tivat and visit the Porto Montenegro marina, with its rich development. Then we will visit Kotor, the touristic and historical city of the region, which is listed as a UNESCO World Natural and Historical Heritage site, wrapped in white stones and illuminated by the Mediterranean sun, as well as Kotor Bay and the historic fortress city. Kotor, located in the southwest of Montenegro and in the south of Croatia, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, is Europe’s largest fjord after Norway and a natural harbor; it consists of four bays connected by narrow straits. The bare mountains surrounding the bay descend steeply to the shore. In Perast, we will take a pleasant private boat ride to the “Lady of the Rocks” island, visit the island, and return. Perast is one of the most beautiful places in Montenegro where you can swim in the sea, so do not forget to bring your swimsuit. We will enjoy the sea and sun in Perast and then return to Budva. 03 Budva (Cetinje – Virpazar – Lake Skadar - Bar – Sveti Stefan)
In this tour, we begin exploring by boarding our private boat from the Budva coast, first taking swimming breaks on Sveti Nikola (Hawai) Island and then on Sveti Stefan Island. We then continue by boat and arrive at the charming town of Petrovac. We spend about 2 hours on the private boat. Petrovac, a small tourist town on the Adriatic coast, is also one of Montenegro’s oldest coastal towns. We enjoy the sea and sun on the beaches of Petrovac. After lunch to be taken on your own, we leave Petrovac and return by private vehicle overland. On the way back, we see Sveti Stefan, with its extraordinary view, this time from land. Sveti Stefan, which was once a settlement of fishermen on an island, later expropriated and then sold to a Singaporean hotel chain, has today been brought into tourism through restoration works; in the 15th century, it was a village protected by walls. Until the 1950s, Sveti Stefan Island was a fishing town, and in the 60s, 70s, and 80s it was also a frequent stop for celebrities such as Sofia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, and Liz Taylor. We stop for a photo break at a place where we can see Sveti Stefan panoramically, and return to Budva.
*** Outside the sea season (during the Spring-Autumn-Winter period), this tour will be carried out without a boat, by road, as the “Budva Coast, Sveti Stefan, Petrovac and Stari Bar Tour”. Our guests who wish can join, as an extra in the afternoon, the Boat Tour on Lake Skadar, Montenegro’s former Royal Capital Cetinje, and Dinner Tour at a National Restaurant (140 Euro). On this tour, we will first depart for the charming town of Virpazar, where we will see Lake Skadar. In Virpazar, we will take an enjoyable cruise in a private boat in the Lake Skadar National Park. On the boat, you will have the chance to experience famous Montenegrin wines. Being able to see pelicans on the lake, which is the largest lake in the Balkans and home to around 250 different bird species, will be a pleasant privilege. After the boat tour on the lake, we will explore Cetinje, Montenegro’s former royal capital. Among the places we will see on our panoramic tour here are the former Turkish Consulate, the small Cetinje square, King Nikola’s house, and the historic Serbian Orthodox monastery. Dinner will be served at sunset in one of Montenegro’s famous national and local restaurants.
